Come stroll the aisles and visit the fantastic craftspeople and artists at the San Diego Holiday Art Festival. With more than 200 of America's best contemporary craft and fine art exhibitors, the show boasts over 10,000 original works in all price ranges. Every category of art and craft - including paintings, sculpture, drawings, printmaking, photography, clothing, jewelry, ceramics, wood, mixed media, glass, metal and stone - is thoroughly represented by a variety of exhibitors. For example, 25 painters displaying watercolors, oils, pastels, and acrylics, are offering both traditional and modern works, originals and limited edition prints. And 40 jewelers, working with gold and silver, enamel and fabric, precious and semi-precious gemstones, are offering rings and necklaces, earrings and pendants, bracelets and brooches.
Adding to the fun, attendees can enjoy spectacular entertainment including: San Diego's own Fern Street Circus with aerial and trapeze acts, jugglers and clowns; jazz guitarist Dirk K; and spellbinding magic by Michael E. Johnson, San Diego's Entertainer of the Year. In addition, The Spirit of Christmas Past, a cappella vocal ensemble in splendid Renaissance costume-will sing out holiday spirit as they wander through the festival.
Festival visitors can also watch fabulous craft demonstrations including hot-furnace glass blowing by James Stone plus weaving, pottery making, painting and sculpting
